I'm Sarah, 32, married to my hunky writer pastor teacher husband Mark http://geenotes.blogspot.com/. We have three gorgeous children, Josiah, who was born in Japan (but actually has blonde hair and blue eyes!), Zoe, our precious vivacious princess, who wants to have been born in another country, and Simeon, our baby, who is absolutely delightful and fast!I really felt to start this blog when I was pregnant with Simeon. I went on to have PND, and found that writing is a good outlet for me. I love to be creative and I love to be encouraging.
This year I'm going to focus on grace and truth, though not exclusively.
As a mum I struggle with lots of things, like we all do, but mostly the expectations I put on myself. That's something I'm gradually changing and trying to apply grace to and truth from the word of God. So I'd love to share with you some of my thoughts and things I'm learning from the Bible.There are many times when I've gone online to look up some practical tip for helping with a baby rash, activities to do with kids, craft and all sorts of mummy related things. One thing that isn't easy to find is just encouragement for a mum's heart. I hope for this blog to be an encouragement to mums when they need it.
I love community and friendships and think that us mums should get together more, encourage each other more and laugh together more.
